Oak Grove Neighborhood Plan Sessions
The Oak Grove Neighborhood is kicking off a series of workshops to make a neighborhood plan. Help us plot where the community is today and craft a strong, achievable vision for the future. CNE is facilitating the project, but the community will be making the decisions. Join us!

Hey Neighbor!
Have you seen the door hangers?

The Oak Grove Neighborhood is kicking off a series of workshops to make an Oak Grove Neighborhood Plan! What is this? What will it do and how can my voice be heard?

What is a neighborhood plan?

The Oak Grove Neighborhood Plan will inventory where the community is today, get neighbors to craft a strong and achievable vision for Oak Grove, and create a path to get from here to there. CNE will act as the facilitator of this project, but the community will make the decisions.

What will a neighborhood plan do?

The plan will set clear goals, create action steps for outside organizations and set action steps for neighbors to hold themselves accountable.

It will be up to you, the neighbors and businesses, to go out and take on these actions. Some action steps will be things you can do at home yourself. Some will be items that your neighborhood group will have to work on together to accomplish. Some will require the advisory committee to follow up with elected officials and the City to get done.

Each workshop will be held twice per month to get the most possible participation! The workshops will be take place on Thursdays and Saturdays. East Side Elementary and El Sol will be the host locations. Mark your calendars!
