To stay up to date on the State of Tennessee’s responses to this crisis, check Governor Lee's daily COVID-19 bulletin. Gov. Bill Lee has signed Executive Orders Nos. 36 and 37, extending the state of emergency declaration from May 18, 2020 to June 30, 2020, extending certain provisions facilitating the State's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tennessee Supreme Court has extended the State of Emergency order to May 31st, which also extends the time that local courts will remain closed, giving time for judicial districts to submit plans.

On April 2nd, FEMA announced that federal emergency aid has been made available for the state of Tennessee to supplement state and local recovery efforts in areas affected by COID-19 beginning on January 20, 2020, and continuing. The National Low Income Housing Coalition has released a report on how to work with FEMA to address housing and homeless needs.
