Employment Opportunities

CNE believes the future of Chattanooga is rooted in the vibrancy of all our neighborhoods and the prosperity of all our people.

Homeownership & Financial Capability Coach

Are you passionate about narrowing the wealth and income divide by strengthening the financial wellbeing of Chattanooga residents? Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise (CNE) is seeking a homeownership and financial capability coach who is passionate about providing financial education and coaching to help low- and moderate-income individuals achieve their financial goals and/or become homeowners.

Loan Officer

Chattanooga Neighborhood Lending is a division of Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, a CDFI non-profit focused on affordable homeownership in the greater Chattanooga area. In addition to offering the whole spectrum of mortgage products, we also offer proprietary down payment assistance programs that no one else can match. We underwrite and fund these products ourselves, so the control and the decision-making process is local. We generate inbound leads through our on-line advertising and media campaigns, as well as generate referrals through our Realtor and bank partners.

We are looking for loan officers that want to take their business to the next level in a challenging market by taking advantage of our specialty programs. In addition to our unique products, we offer a flexible work environment, an excellent full benefit package including a 403(b) program with employer match, and in-house HUD-approved credit counseling services for those borrowers who need a little boost to get their credit over the goal line. In short, we offer all the tools to expand your business and close more loans.

President & CEO

CNE's Board of Directors has initiated a search for a new CNE President & CEO. This process will be led by Andrea Hardaway, CNE Board Chair, Matt Lyle, Board Vice Chair, Maria Noel, Board Secretary, Buck Schimpf, CNE Chair Emeritus, Nicole Heyman, City of Chattanooga Chief Housing Officer, Jeff Pfitzer with the Benwood Foundation, and Macon Toledano with the Lyndhurst Foundation.

The team has retained The Moran Company to conduct a national search for the position. “Our goal is to find a candidate who will optimize the opportunities that exist to deliver vibrancy of neighborhoods  and pave the way to prosperity for even more Chattanoogans as our community evolves,” said Andrea Hardaway.

Martina Guilfoil will remain with CNE through late 2024 to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities. “We look forward to seeing CNE continue to build upon the great foundation Martina has put in place,” said Jeff Pfitzer, Benwood Foundation.
